LESION REMOVAL WITH CRYOPEN
Cryopen or Cryotherapy is a highly effective and safe procedure that is used to freeze and destroy benign skin lesions.
Cryotherapy is beneficial as it is quick, safe and effective with no anaesthesia required. The CryoPen used is a unique device allowing for targeted treatments, meaning no healthy tissue is destroyed or affected during treatment.

WHAT IS DOES
Cryopen is a non-invasive treatment that uses liquid nitrogen to freeze and destroy skin lesions. It is a quick and effective treatment for moles, milia, and skin tags.
WHAT HAPPENS
During a Cryopen treatment, your therapist will apply a small probe to the lesion and discharge a stream of liquid nitrogen. The liquid nitrogen will freeze the lesion, causing it to die. The lesion will then fall off within a few weeks.
MAP MY MOLE
Worried about a mole or skin lesion? To avoid lengthy waiting times to see a GP or dermatologist we now offer a mole screening service in clinic. You will have photos taken of your mole using a specialist screening tool and they will be sent to a team of UK Consultant Dermatologists for an indicative opinion. An advisory report will be sent to you in 48 hours .
If you wish to have a mole, solar keratosis, or a lesion removed which we consider needs assessment first, we will require you to either provide us with written confirmation from your GP it has been checked and is safe to remove, or we will require you to use the map my mole service first. This is for your safety.
